Job Title: A&T Technician IV - 2nd Shift Reporting To: Manager, Process Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for an A&T Technician IV – 2nd Shift to join them. You will report to the shift Senior Operations Coordinator and will have an onsite, 2nd shift work schedule in East Aurora, New York. To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. At least 5 years of related A&T experience, including proven test capability preferred. As an A&T Technician IV, you will: Perform various precision and complex assembly, test, inspection and troubleshooting functions in support of product delivery requirements. Assist in preparation of test procedures and test reports. Test items are deliverables or qualification units, consequences of a test error may be costly and may result in months of program delay; therefore, sound technical judgment and common good sense are important. Prepare vibration lab setups and conduct a variety of vibration lab tests for Assembly & Test and Development. Prepare environmental setups and conduct a variety of environmental tests for Assembly & Test and Development. Perform manual testing and plotting with nozzle flapper and deflector jet servo valves. Perform Actuator assembly and test. Work from drawings, work instructions, parts lists or other instruction and provide detailed written communication defining performance results and/or situational circumstances. Diagnose test failures and assess hardware condition to provide recommended rework instruction and configuration changes to achieve desired results. Performs the day-to-day administrative functions to support overall operations. Maintain critical product documentation (historical records, work instruction data, ATP data, measurement data, etc.) Initiate and process evaluation data. May work off-shift hours for short periods of time to accommodate customer delivery schedules. May be asked to help Senior Operations Coordinator train employees on assembly and test processes. Requirements
