About The Position

Operate and troubleshoot the Butina CO2 stunning equipment throughout work shift. Will troubleshooting equipment if down or not operating properly. Direct others in movement of hogs in irons and between equipment. Must maintain AWB requirements and integrity always. Other duties as assigned or determined by manager.

Requirements

Education: High School diploma GED or equivalency preferred. College or trade school credits in computers electricity etc. are considered a plus for this position.
Experience: A minimum of 6+ months prior experience working with and handling livestock in loading and unloading operations as well as experience with skid loaders and forklift operation is required. Experience with livestock handling in a procurement area of the meat industry is preferred. Prior knowledge and experience with humane animal handling procedures process and general policy in procurement is preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills both verbal written. Must be able to communicate effectively with plant management and all other Team Members.
Environmental Conditions: Team members may be required to wear hard hat steel toe boots and hearing protection. The temperature of the work area is seasonal and depends on outside temperatures.
Must be able to work extended hours including assigned shifts and weekends if needed and maintain confidentiality of company information.
Must be able to be work with live hogs AWB .

Any suspension on record in the last 12 months
