About The Position

The A&R Project Manager at Universal Music Group is responsible for managing the A&R project administration cycle, including budget management, vendor coordination, and project performance monitoring. This role requires collaboration with various teams, including finance and legal, to ensure compliance and effective resource allocation for artist projects. Requirements

  • BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a professional environment.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Fluent bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (speak, read, write).
  • Strong project management and computer skills, including Excel, Uniport/SAP, Monday, and PowerPoint.
  • Accounting, financial, and administration experience.
  • Extremely organized, analytical, and process-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-speed environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Entertainment Business is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage A&R project administration cycle including budget setup and management.
  • Liaise with the Finance team to manage A&R project budgets and funds.
  • Control assigned budgets for each project and review resource allocation within SAP.
  • Develop and manage A&R budgets for senior management with investment analysis.
  • Coordinate vendor payment processes and manage compliance approvals with Finance and Legal departments.
  • Manage vendor invoices and documentation for payment setup within SAP/Uniport.
  • Create and manage project-related documents such as one sheets and timelines.
  • Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders about strategy and progress.
  • Monitor project performance and make necessary adjustments.
