Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and federal regulatory guidelines
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, charts, and complex formulas
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced Excel-based data analysis to support A/R operations
  • Conduct root cause analysis on past due balances, recurring disputes, and unapplied cash
  • Analyze and clean up suspense accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining organized and compliant documentation
  • Assist with the NorthStar system deployment, ensuring smooth transition and data integrity
  • Serve as primary contact for urgent projects and customer issues, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness
  • Monitor national chain and general market accounts receivable and advise on necessary actions
