The A&R Administration Temp will work closely with business affairs, A&R, finance, marketing, and production teams. This position oversees the recording process from a business perspective, administering all A&R related budgets and handling recording-related legal issues and logistics. The department serves as the primary interface between A&R, Marketing, Legal, and Production in the creation and release of all commercial and promotional products. This role reports to the SVP of A&R Administration. Your responsibilities will include contract administration, weekly forecasting, budget tracking, assisting in third-party vendor setups, paying invoices, and coordinating studio production, mixing, and mastering. You will also compile metadata for production and deliver all assets under the artist recording agreement. The role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with co-workers, artists, managers, and attorneys. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for current music, strong computer skills, and the ability to balance multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines. The use of discretion and the maintenance of high levels of confidentiality are also required.
