Woolpert is hiring an A&P Mechanic to join our dynamic Aerial Survey team in our Dayton, OH office. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance and is responsible for aircraft maintenance. Qualified candidates will be A&P current. The A&P Mechanic will support modified KingAir 300, Cessna 404, and Cessna 406 aircraft, ensuring that the assigned aircraft are maintained in accordance with manufacturers' programs and FAA standards. Mechanics are responsible for all logbooks and that company reporting requirements are met. The role requires the ability to operate independently in austere environments, both CONUS and OCONUS, and contributes as a team member to maintain high aircraft availability rates 365 days per year. The position also involves supervising vendor technicians performing specialized inspections, repairs, or logistical support on or off-site, and interfacing with domestic and foreign government representatives regarding the use of local logistical infrastructure. Additionally, the A&P Mechanic will maintain the Traxxall maintenance tracking program and manage parts ordering, receiving, and shipping programs. Mechanics will usually operate alone on projects with very little supervision and must be able to complete tasks fully and safely.
