About The Position

In-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. In-depth knowledge (aircraft/vehicle movement and safety/hazards) of flight line operations. In-depth knowledge of using aircraft technical publications-read, interpret, follow and basic comprehension of schematic diagrams, drawings, and charts. Working knowledge (input and extract data) of maintenance database technology. Formal or Specialized Training/Equivalent on assigned aircraft and equipment. Willingness and ability to work shifts as assigned and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team if required. Capable of completing/passing a required physical exam for flight operations. Ability to work in the established CONUS work environment, work shift schedules as assigned 5 days a week with the possibility to work 13 weekends.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (A&P license).
  • Minimum of three (3) years aircraft mechanic level experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years Experience in the use of common hand and special tools/testers as required for aircraft maintenance.
  • Valid State Driver’s License.
  • Valid US Passport.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent King Air, B200 or 350 experience on civilian and military platforms including Pratt & Whitney PT6 turboprop experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently or within a group.
