About The Position

Based in Honolulu, HI The Maintenance Tech 3 is responsible for inspections, tests, maintenance, and service of aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications and leading small projects.

Requirements

Minimum two yearsâ experience working with general aviation airframes
Airframe and Powerplant Certification required
Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
Valid Driverâs License
Maintain personal tool box containing standard hand tools
Read, write and comprehend the English language
Ability to travel to the mainland as required for training
Ability to travel to other islands as required for AOG recovery

Nice To Haves

Two yearsâ Pilatus PC-12 experience desirable
Advanced troubleshooting abilities
Broad knowledge of aircraft systems
Leadership, Quality, or sheet metal experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Performs routine maintenance and inspections on general aviation aircraft
Ensures proper care of customer property through all phases of work
Accurately completes required paperwork and work order details in Corridor
Leads small projects
Makes technical decisions regarding discrepancies and job flow
Utilizes outside resources as authorized
Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool box
Utilizes support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work tasks
Performs other duties as directed
