About The Position

AerSale® is a global leader and market innovator specializing in aviation products and services to meet the growing demand for aftermarket support in global passenger, cargo, and government segments. They offer complete aircraft nose-to-tail, value-added offerings, including Aircraft & Component Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Services (MRO), Aircraft & Engine Sales and Leasing, Used Serviceable Material (USM) Sales and Parts Exchange, Flight Equipment Asset Management Services, and internally developed aircraft and component modifications (engineered solutions) designed to enhance aircraft performance and operating economics (e.g., AerSale®, AerTrak® and AerAware). This position is for an A&P Aircraft Inspector responsible for ensuring work quality and compliance with FAA approved technical data.

Requirements

  • Must have an Airframe & Power Plant (A & P) License.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience utilizing A & P License.
  • H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a urinary pre-employment test for drugs as per the DOT regulations.
  • Attention to detail is imperative.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.

Responsibilities

  • Accept or reject work accomplished for all items generated on the inspection forms.
  • Responsible for the surveillance of all work in progress.
  • Assure that all work inspected is in accordance with current FAA approved technical data.
  • Assure that all routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off.
  • Verify calibrated tooling used is current.
  • Assist the Director of Maintenance, Maintenance Manager, and Chief Inspector to ensure health and safety practices are followed.
  • This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to submit to pre-employment and periodic DOT regulations for drug and alcohol testing.
  • Responsible for the release to service for work performed.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Lead Inspector.
