About The Position

We are your dealership alternative and provide a well clean and safe shop for you to settle in and grow your career fixing things, solving problems and making a difference. Our company is small enough to know and use your first name, but large enough to provide stability and security for your family. We have great shop tools, equipment, and diagnostic tools that help make you a better tech. Working alongside nice people with good attitudes that care about the work we do. Even better, having the support to learn new things with teammates that want to help you and can help you get through hard jobs. Work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day or 5 days per week and 8 hours per day. 1 night on call per week. One weekend on call per 4 weeks. What makes the FleetEasy Company of Family different? Requirements
- You must be aligned with our core values (see above). Not just speak it, but act it.
- Desire to be part of a team that invests in the future of our trade and likes figuring things out.
- Would do this job for free because you actually enjoy fixing things. We pay well, but you get the point.
- You need to have 4 years successfully earning a living in automotive or truck repair.
- You are an efficient mechanic that can consistently meet or exceed billed time.
- Know how to use modern software and modern technology to diagnose efficiently trucks and commercial vehicles on your own.
- You need to have invested in at least $10,000 in your own tools and have real tool box that takes a truck to move (Which we will move for you)
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
- Reside within 45 Google minutes of Auburn Shop.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on fleet, trucks, and heavy-duty vehicles in a well-equipped shop.
- We have our own fleet of tow trucks, and that is part of our work. However, we also have many outside clients that depend on us to keep their trucks and fleet on in service.
- Most of your work will be InShop, but you will periodically to OnSite call outs.
- Able to fix things, solve problems, and figure stuff out.
- A clean and organized tech is a productive tech, so that is what we expect.
