About The Position

A-Level / B+ Diagnostic Technician 4647 Old Seward Hwy – Anchorage Point S Tire & Auto (Sister Company of Simard Automotive – Fairbanks) We started in 1997 in one bay in Fairbanks. Today, we operate multiple locations across Alaska, and Anchorage is our next chapter. Our Old Seward location has been known for tires. Now we're expanding mechanical services - and we're looking for a proven A-Level or strong B+ Diagnostic Technician to help us build it. This isn't just another tech job. Who We're Looking For Strong A-Level or high B+ diagnostic ability Excellent electrical troubleshooting skills (real testing, not guessing) Confident across most makes and models Proven leadership on the shop floor Someone who enjoys mentoring younger techs A builder - not just a biller If you've ever thought, "I could build something better," this may be your shot. What You'll Do Produce strong personal billed hours Lead diagnostics and complex repairs Mentor LOF, tire, alignment, and mechanical bays Support workflow and quality control Help grow the next generation of technicians in Anchorage If you want a 9–5 job, this isn't it.
