About The Position

The A La Carte Server delivers warm, attentive, and professional service to members and guests in all dining areas of the club. This role requires a polished presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to anticipate needs while maintaining the high standards expected in a private country club environment. Requirements

• Prior serving experience preferred; private club or fine dining experience a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
• Professional appearance and member‑first mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide gracious, efficient, and knowledgeable service throughout each shift
• Greet members by name and build positive, professional relationships
• Guide members through menus, specials, and wine selections
• Accurately take orders and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
• Maintain table standards, including proper settings, clearing, and resetting
• Assist with opening and closing duties, side work, and station organization
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of dining rooms, service stations, and beverage areas
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow
• Support banquet or event service as needed
• Follow all club service standards, steps of service, and grooming guidelines
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service policies
• Handle member concerns with professionalism and communicate issues to management promptly
