About The Position

S.A. Comunale is seeking an A&D Fabrication Technician. The A&D Fabrication Technician is responsible for assembling, fabricating, and preparing fire alarm/suppression components according to project specifications and industry standards. This role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and material lists to ensure accurate and efficient production.
The technician will operate fabrication tools and equipment, maintain quality control throughout the process, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Additional responsibilities include inventory management, troubleshooting fabrication issues, deliveries and collaborating with project managers and installers to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of related work experience is required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.
• Average experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel) applications is required.
• Ability to think strategically, make sound decisions, and produce accurate and timely results is required.
• Building positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees and management is required.
• Demonstrating integrity and professionalism is required.
• Demonstrating commitment to company values is required.
• Excellent organizational skills are required.
• Ability to follow-up on tasks and assignments in a timely manner is required.

• Inventory Management
• Material Staging and Shipping
• Deliveries when necessary
• Assist Operations Manager and Purchasing with various projects.
• Maintains cleanliness for shop/warehouse/storage as needed.
• Be aware of surroundings to work safely
