About The Position
Join the mission of Improving Lives as a Mental Health Technician at Jefferson Health. As a part-time position in the Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit, you will work nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Jefferson Health is the second largest employer in Philadelphia and the largest health system in the Philadelphia region, dedicated to improving lives through compassionate care. Mental Health Technicians play a crucial role in patient care by assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) in delivering care, observing patient behaviors, and documenting any changes in patients' moods or behaviors in a timely manner. You will provide one-on-one sessions with assigned patients as needed, maintaining a full patient caseload alongside an assigned primary nurse in an inpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all patients receive effective and compassionate care, contributing to their overall well-being and recovery.
