About The Position

The Clinic Nurse at ConvenientMD is a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an urgent care setting. This role involves patient triage, assisting with exams and procedures, and managing various medical tasks under the direction of a provider. The Clinic Nurse plays a crucial role in ensuring effective patient management and is a key member of the clinical team, guiding other staff in medical processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Licensed RN
• Experience placing and monitoring IVs
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification preferred; American Red Cross BLS Certification accepted
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient triage including vital signs, medical history, and observational examination.
• Assist with patient exams, testing, and procedures under the direction of the provider.
• Conduct blood draws and phlebotomy.
• Manage airway through nebulizer treatment, oral suctioning, and oxygen administration.
• Apply 12 Lead ECG, perform CPR, and use AED for cardiac management.
• Administer immunizations and medications as per RN scope of practice.
• Assist with patient callbacks, answering questions, and reporting test results.
• Call in prescriptions to requested pharmacies.
