As a Senior Relationship Manager at Rabo AgriFinance, you will play a crucial role in promoting financial services to farmers and producers in the Central Valley region, focusing on dairy, tree nuts, and citrus markets. Your primary responsibilities will include acquiring new clients, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and achieving regional objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of the agricultural industry and the ability to mentor junior team members while representing the bank in various community and industry events.

  • Acquire new customers and expand relationships with existing clients.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow the bank's brand in the region.
  • Target top producers to provide tailored banking solutions.
  • Build a network of referrals through relationships with appraisers, attorneys, and CPAs.
  • Attend trade shows and ag-related events to promote the bank and its services.
  • Mentor Portfolio Managers and Financial Analysts in customer relationship building.
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 7+ years of ag lending experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the agricultural industries in the Central Valley region.
  • Strong communication skills with external and internal clients.
  • Passion for agriculture and understanding of agricultural credits.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel regionally, more than 50%.
