About The Position
The Principal Product Manager at Genentech will play a pivotal role in driving innovation within the Boston Roche Innovation Center (BRIC), a unit dedicated to advancing data and statistical science at the intersection of artificial intelligence and machine learning. This position is not just about managing products; it’s about leading the product development lifecycle from initial concept through to launch and beyond, ensuring that the products developed are user-centered and meet the needs of drug development decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining product roadmaps, managing releases, and ensuring that the product vision aligns with both user requirements and business needs. As an experienced product manager, you will tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions, prioritizing roadmaps, grooming backlogs, and driving execution against timelines. You will collaborate closely with BRIC leadership and product owners to shape product strategy and vision, ensuring that the product development process is agile and responsive to technical and scientific risks. Your role will also involve defining and managing product requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and serving as the Agile product owner during sprint ceremonies. In this role, seamless collaboration with other Roche teams and external partners will be essential. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality product releases on time, continuously updating the product roadmap based on user feedback, and monitoring product effectiveness through analytics. Clear communication of product concepts to stakeholders and leading within a matrix environment will be key to your success. You will also ensure that security, quality, and privacy practices are embedded throughout the product lifecycle, fostering a culture of innovation within the team.
