About The Position

The Financial Analyst, Non-Student Receivables at Georgetown University is responsible for managing revenue recognition and receivables from non-student customers. The analyst will collaborate with various finance offices and support cash management and customer service operations within the Revenue and Receivables department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Experience in a finance, accounting, or business operation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a higher education environment preferred.
• Experience with the Workday Financials system, particularly customer contracts and invoicing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts to ensure proper and timely revenue recognition and invoicing.
• Invoice customers according to revenue generating agreements, including developing invoice templates.
• Account for payment and non-payment from University customers, taking appropriate action.
• Reconcile customers' receivable accounts to the general ledger and outstanding invoices.
• Develop efficient ways for customers to remit payment simply and securely.
