About The Position

We are looking for a talented 95L 3 rd Shift Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Seymour, IN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Lead Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely achievement of production targets. Drive Performance Excellence: Monitor team performance, set clear expectations, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement and accountability. Enhance Safety Standards: Collaborate across functions to identify and implement safety improvements, promoting a culture of workplace safety. Optimize Productivity & Efficiency: Recommend and support initiatives that streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity. Champion Quality Assurance: Work with cross-functional teams to uphold high-quality standards and resolve any issues impacting product integrity. Mentor and Develop Talent: Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional growth and skill development. Facilitate Effective Communication: Serve as a liaison between team members and leadership, ensuring clear communication of goals, changes, and expectations. Lead Strategic Projects: Act as the group lead on key projects and assignments, driving results and fostering collaboration across departments.

Requirements

  • College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
