About The Position

Under supervision, to clean and paint red zones and curbs throughout GRF streets, and perform related work as required. The position involves driving a truck to clean and paint all red zones and curbs throughout GRF streets on a yearly basis, as well as painting all guest-parking stalls after yearly seal coat programs. Regular attendance is required, and all duties are performed on-site for the Community.

Requirements

• Educational development which produces the ability to read, write and apply common sense understanding to the carrying out of oral or written instructions.
• Experience in building maintenance work or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the job.
• Knowledge of the standard practices, methods, processes, materials, machines and tools of building maintenance.
• Ability to adapt available tools and repair parts of specific repair problems.
• Ability to operate equipment that requires a high degree of manipulative skill.
• Ability to read and write work-related job instructions in English.
• Ability to work from sketches and drawings and to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others in English.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Skill in the use and care of tools and equipment used in the Building Maintenance trade.

Responsibilities

• Drives a truck to clean and paint all red zones and curbs throughout GRF streets on a yearly basis.
• Paints all guest-parking stalls after yearly seal coat programs.
• Works effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner.
