Requirements

• Must pass a background investigation and meet CJIS/TCOLE requirements regarding criminal history.
• Ability to work on a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must obtain required licenses and certifications within specified time frames.

Responsibilities

• Screen requests for emergency services and respond appropriately based on training and policies.

• Conduct safety checks for responders using communication technology.
• Facilitate transfers to appropriate resources and perform conference calls as needed.
• Operate multiple computer systems and software for dispatch and communication purposes.
• Activate community warning systems to inform the public of critical events.
