About The Position

We are seeking a calm, organized Dispatcher to handle 911 emergencies and interfacility transport (IFT) calls. You will coordinate EMS units, communicate with hospitals and field personnel, and ensure timely, efficient responses. Key responsibilities include: Receiving and prioritizing 911 and IFT calls Dispatching EMS units and monitoring their status Communicating with hospitals, patients, and field personnel Maintaining accurate records of all calls and activities Following EMS dispatch protocols and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring communications systems.
• Capability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Previous 911 or EMS dispatch experience preferred
• Familiarity with CAD systems and medical terminology a plus
