About The Position

Ulysses High School is seeking a 9-12 ELA Teacher who is 7-12 ELA Certified in the state of Kansas or eligible for certification. The candidate will be responsible for planning instruction, teaching, differentiating instruction, motivating, inspiring, and assessing students in English Language Arts. The position requires promoting a high-quality, personalized education program that aligns with the Kansas State Content Standards for High School English Language Arts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and communication skills, a dynamic character, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with diverse staff, students, parents, and the community within a rigorous K-12 academic environment.
