About The Position
Third Future Schools is a high-achieving and growing network of charter schools. The network's school in Edgewood, Texas, Brentwood Middle School, is looking for an 8th Grade ELA Teacher. Brentwood Middle School teachers help students improve academic proficiency and build habits of success. They create a safe and orderly learning environment for students who are assigned to their class and for all the students in the school. Classroom teachers receive great support, with lesson plans, demonstrations of learning, and student assignments and activities provided by expert curriculum developers. Teacher assistants make copies and grade papers for the teachers. Teachers also have minimal duties, limited to only four days a month.
