Requirements

  • Proven team member with skills to multi-task.
  • Proficient reading, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to abide by all of Carter’s policies and procedures, specifically the attendance policy.
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently.
  • Check-in and check-out of equipment.
  • Scrub facility floors using propane-powered equipment.
  • Move cardboard bales from balers into trailers using lift equipment.
  • Run supplies to Operations floor.
  • Fill trash compactor.
  • Ensure all work is done in accordance with OSHA regulations and Carter’s safety rules.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and work well with management, peers, and subordinate employees.
  • Maintain facility property including building grounds, HVAC, generators, sprinkler systems, and security systems.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
