About The Position

Are you currently enrolled in an Engineering program and looking for a paid internship that allows to work with and learn from a highly collaborative team of engineers and product sales staff? Does the opportunity to expand your knowledge around engineering and mechanical design excite you? Neff Power, a GCG company, is currently seeking a year-round Mechanical Design Interns for their 80/20 design team! As an 80/20 Design Engineer Intern , you will work directly with Neff’s engineering and product management groups to learn about aluminum extrusion and design / assemble 80/20 products. This internship requires a minimum of 10 hours a week and offers a remote work arrangement, after an initial fully onsite training period at Neff Power’s office located at 675 Spirit Valley Central Dr. Chesterfield, MO 63005 . Requirements

• Current enrollment in a mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering program required
• Experience using hand tools (wrenches, sockets, etc) required
• Willingness to work onsite

Responsibilities

• Work alongside engineers to assemble aluminum extrusion products
• Operate basic hand tools: wrenches, sockets, drills, etc
• Work alongside product managers to design products with AutoCAD and Solidworks
• Assist with additional responsibilities as needed
