Our work ethic and attention to detail is what keeps Loftis performing as a Level 5 and Reward School year after year. Teachers at Loftis have a deep understanding of how to use data to inform instruction, how to plan with intentionality, and how to work closely with both horizontal and vertical teams to meet the needs of students. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid Tennessee teaching license in Science 6-8, 6-12 Science OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
- Positive, student-focused educators with strong content and classroom management skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Committed to high expectations and academic achievement for all students
- Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous growth
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus
- Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
- Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
