Loftis Middle is a grades 6–8 school located in Hixson, Tennessee, just north of Chattanooga. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid Tennessee teaching license in English Language Arts 6-8, 6-12 English Language Arts OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
- Positive, student-focused educators with strong content and classroom management skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Committed to high expectations and academic achievement for all students
- Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous growth
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus
- Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
