About the position

The Retail Associate at Goodwill Industries is responsible for providing excellent customer service to shoppers and donors, fostering positive relationships, and supporting the organization's mission. This role involves various retail tasks, including assisting customers, managing merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors upon entering the store.
• Bag merchandise and handle store returns accurately.
• Receive, stock, tag, count, and inventory merchandise.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks from the distribution center.
• Stock and merchandise textiles, electronics, furniture, housewares, and other goods.
• Perform general housekeeping, custodial, and janitorial duties as assigned.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
