About The Position
If you're looking for a career in environmental health, join the Army National Guard as a Preventive Medicine Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect and recommend proper corrective action on environmental and sanitation conditions to keep military personnel safe and healthy. Preventive Medicine Specialists study and prevent the spread of disease. You will conduct or assist with inspections, surveys, and laboratory procedures. You may also supervise facilities or serve on preventive medicine staffs, as well as develop community health education programs.
