About The Position
The position is for a Special Education Teacher for Life Skills at Ingram Tom Moore High School. The teacher will provide special education students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The role involves developing or modifying curriculum and preparing lessons and other instructional materials tailored to student ability levels. Additionally, the teacher will enable students to develop competencies and skills necessary to function successfully in society and will be responsible for vocational training and preparing students with post-secondary readiness skills.
