About The Position

Waynflete seeks an inventive and engaging Science teacher to begin in August for the 2026–2027 school year. Responsibilities will include teaching science in the Upper School, advising, overseeing co-curricular activities and/or coaching. The position requires specific knowledge of Biology. The ability to teach at least one other science class, such as Chemistry, Environmental Science or Physics is required, and interest/experience in Marine Biology is a plus as well. We seek applicants who are passionate about science, use innovative teaching practices, and engage with students and colleagues in a collaborative spirit. Experience teaching Biology and/or a masters degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
