About The Position
St. Catherine Laboure School seeks a dynamic, faith-filled 5th Grade Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time teaching position at our K–8 Catholic school serving over 487 students. St. Catherine Laboure is a thriving and stable parish and school community with a long-standing tradition of academic excellence and Catholic faith formation in the Southwest County area. We are committed to nurturing the whole child—academically, spiritually, and socially—within a faith-centered environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates a love for teaching students in the middle grades and a commitment to rigor, excellence, and continuous professional growth. Requirements
- Elementary Education Certification required
- Experience teaching English Language Arts and Mathematics required
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Passion for reading and writing
- Effective communication and collaborative teamwork skills
- Commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning
- Proficiency in Google Classroom required
- Dedication to Catholic education and faith formation
