5th Grade Teacher
About The Position
An active Elementary K-6 or Elementary All Subjects 4-6 Pennsylvania Teaching Certification is required. Candidates who possess multiple certifications are preferred. Prior experience as an elementary school teacher and special education certification is also preferred. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of elementary aged children and good communication skills. Must understand and be able to teach the approved curriculum. In addition to being qualified and knowledgeable in the specific area of certification required, we are seeking individuals trained in: The Danielson Framework for Teaching Differentiated Instruction: Guided Reading & Guided Math Mastery Learning Student-level data analysis and interpretation Classroom Technology Integration Structured Literacy and the Science of Reading Inquiry Based Learning Special Education Being a Team Player, Problem Solver, and Life-Long Learner If hired for employment, the applicant must be able to submit the following: Criminal Record Check (less than one year old) PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old) FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old) TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old) Physical - if applicable (less than 1 year old) Applicants requiring assistance or needing any accommodations for an employment test or interviewing process are asked to advise us in advance.
