About The Position

5GaaS Senior Director of Project Management Operations will focus on current and prospective projects to ensure a healthy balance of timely deliver, scope compliance, positive business results, and customer satisfaction. They will work with Sales, Engineering, and Finance to ensure projects are properly structured during the presales phase, delivered during fulfillment while meeting the expectations of Betacom’s customers. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills combined with a sense of urgency.

Requirements

  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, establish peer level trust, and achieve broadercompany objectives.
  • Experience with customer engagements and communication to support overall company objectives.
  • Ability to engage/influence audiences and identify diverse industry enterprise engagements.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • 5-10 years of operational experience in startup, medium size, and large-scale delivery environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience building organization and structure of delivery teams and aligning objectives with compensation plans.
  • Experience in multiple industry verticals and environments including but not limited to telecommunications.
  • Experinece in business and financial metric measurement and compliance.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party delivery resources.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate prospective projects and ensure they meet the strategic and business objectives of Betacom.
  • Develop, and implement strategies that improve the operational effectiveness of Betacom.
  • Work with sales and engineering to qualify new opportunities and work with them during deal initiation,proposals, and negotiations.
  • Work with sales and engineering to ensure all projects are structured and staffed effectively.
  • Monitor business metrics in regard to revenues, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with sales and engineering to identify key delivery partners.
  • Work creatively to enhance current processes and eliminate wasteful activities or define more creativeprocesses that support that objective.
  • Create new relationships with partners, ensure a positive partner experience, understand the key drivers ofeach partner's value proposition, and influence partners.
  • Work with sales and engineering to create account plans and strategies to win new business from existingrelationships, through customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate and detailed forecast of identified project opportunities to meet or exceed deliveryrequirements.
  • Create a culture of delivery excellence based on respect for all team members, professionalism in everythingwe do and recognition of the value of each member of the team.
