About The Position

Join Apple's innovative team where you will contribute to the development and verification of cutting-edge wireless technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Verification and Integration Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our 4G/5G firmware. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team, collaborating with component validation, integration, protocol test, firmware development, and system engineering teams.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of a bachelors degree
• Strong understanding of wireless and digital communication theory and concepts such as Modulation, channel coding techniques and digital signal processing
• Good knowledge of wireless signal propagation, channels fading and RF concepts
• Understanding of basic Cellular communication systems and various division multiple access techniques
• Good programming/Coding ability using C/C++, Python or any other language
• Analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and collaborate effectively with development/design teams for resolution
• Knowledge of source code control tools
• Ability to quickly adapt and learn new architectures and frameworks
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and techniques for test optimization, data analysis, or complex system verification

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic Knowledge of 4G/5G 3GPP physical layer and protocol stack procedures and configurations
• Experience with network emulators, silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java)
