About The Position

PSEG is seeking an IT Intern for the Workforce Management and Mobile Solutions team. This role involves supporting the Salesforce work management system for electric and gas distribution, focusing on maintenance, administration, and upgrades of Field Service applications and integrations. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a hybrid work environment, contributing to various IT tasks and projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or management information systems from an accredited institution.
• Must have completed sophomore level coursework for consideration.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record required for travel to various PSEG locations.

Nice To Haves

• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint.
• Basic understanding of SQL, MS Access, PowerBI, or data visualization tools.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with SaaS/PaaS frameworks such as Salesforce and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Providing IT ticket resolution by troubleshooting common issues on the Salesforce platform.
• Assisting with Salesforce/Mulesoft/SAP general administration.
• Participating in product enhancements and change management processes.
• Conducting data analysis through Salesforce/SAP reports, Power BI, and Excel.
