About The Position

PSEG is seeking an intern for the Nuclear IT RealTime Systems Team, focusing on supporting nuclear plant Real Time systems. This hybrid position involves assisting professionals in various technical areas related to nuclear operations and cybersecurity, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology or Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Graduating between December 2025 and May 2028, with specific eligibility criteria for May/June 2025 graduates.
• Completed sophomore level coursework for consideration.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history required.

• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Within 60 min driving distance of PSEG Nuclear LLC.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in updating and supporting Nuclear Control Rooms' Plant Computers.
• Assist supporting Security System (IVMS) Video Monitoring System and gate log systems.
• Assist supporting Nuclear Core monitoring systems.
• Assist with Nuclear Cyber Security tasks.
• Assist supporting Plant Historian and M&D Center Data.
• Assist in supporting Digital and I&C Engineering.
• Exercise good communication skills and prioritize high impact issues.
• Support teammates and collaborate on ideas and solutions.
• Invoke diversity, equity, and inclusion in all tasks.
• Build strong client relationships through excellence in customer support.
