About The Position

PSEG is seeking an IT Intern for the ServiceNow application area within the Enterprise and Applications group. This role involves working as a Business Analyst and developer, focusing on incident reporting and management, problem management, and cybersecurity applications. The internship is designed for students actively pursuing a degree in Information Technology, providing hands-on experience in a professional IT environment.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology from an accredited institution.
• Graduating between December 2025 and May 2028.
• Completion of freshman level coursework is required.

Nice To Haves

• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Experience with development languages, particularly Java.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, C++, C#, MySQL, and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside ServiceNow developers and Business Analysts.
• Assist in incident reporting and management using ServiceNow.
• Support problem management processes utilizing the 5-Why methodology.
• Engage in vulnerability management and governance within the Cyber Security space.
