About The Position

Our network of independent entrepreneurs provide customers with personalized service at the local level with the global reach and resources of a multi-billion dollar company. In this role, you will support the Field Management team as the first point of contact in the onboarding and training for newly contracted Landstar Agents. Your support experience and engagement skills will play a key role in helping Agents navigate their learning process. You will deliver exceptional internal customer service to ensure a positive and successful initial six months, at minimum, for our Agents. Your ability to continuously learn and adapt will be vital to your success in this position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General education degree (GED)
  • One year of customer service in an office setting

Nice To Haves

  • One-year transportation experience
  • 6 months of presentation experience, training experience, or equivalent of both

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive training on all Landstar systems, tools, and sites
  • Deliver engaging and effective online training sessions
  • Monitor new agent performance at 45/90/180-day intervals
  • Conduct weekly workshop training for agency staff members
  • Process and respond to agents' customer account inquiries
  • Function as the initial corporate point of contact for new agents
  • Provide operational support when needed
  • Communicate and collaborate with Region Team personnel
  • Perform system demonstrations as requested
  • Other duties as assigned
