About The Position

Requirements

  • Eligibility for full and unconditional participation in Medicaid and Medicare programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate nursing care for individuals in treatment.
  • Develop and assist in facility nursing orientation programs and mentor new nurses.
  • Consult with other nurses and direct care staff on treatment interventions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and participate in quality assurance activities.
  • Develop improved methods of practice for nursing care.
  • Collaborate with the integrated treatment team to address patient needs.
  • Participate in the admission process of individuals to the facility.
  • Provide scheduled and emergency nursing treatment as needed.
  • Assist with referrals to other service providers.
  • Act as a liaison to outside agencies to ensure continuity of care.
  • Serve as a teacher and resource for nursing staff in patient assessment and care planning.
  • Develop written reports and trainings for quality improvement needs.
  • Create nursing policies and procedures with the Nurse Administrator.
  • Provide clinical supervision to nursing staff and direct care personnel.
