About The Position

A 5-Axis Laser Operator sets up and runs multi-axis CNC laser cutting machines to produce precise parts according to blueprints and quality standards. The role centers on machine operation, quality checks, and safety in a manufacturing environment, and there are current openings on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift at our Lapeer, MI facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of warehouse, production, or general labor experience highly desired.
• Ability to read and follow basic work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Capability to stand for extended periods, handle physical tasks, and work overtime or off shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Properly setting up each job prior to start-up.
• Confirming the job has the correct material and tools.
• Loading, unloading and inspecting parts.
• Maintaining clean work area.
