About The Position

The position at Tetra Tech involves providing strategic planning and support for solid waste systems and facilities, focusing on client satisfaction and regulatory compliance. The role requires collaboration with clients and internal teams to manage multiple projects, ensuring quality control and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or above in engineering or related environmental field.
• Professional Engineer license or ability to acquire within one year of hire.
• 5 to 8 years minimum experience in a related field.
• Experience in solid waste management and biogas system design.
• Regulatory experience required, with a focus on the upper mid-west, specifically Wisconsin.
• Project management experience, including budgets and invoicing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Solid organization and time management skills.
• Proficiency with computer usage for document preparation, including Word and Excel.
• Working knowledge of computer-aided design software, preferably Civil 3D.

• Experience in remediation and site civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Interpret federal, state, and local agency regulations.
• Analyze, oversee, and review project work products, including technical data, calculations, and reports.
• Build and maintain client relationships and support new business development activities.
• Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct work for multi-project clients.
• Support strategic initiatives for continued work with key clients and business sectors.
• Perform project tasks, design, calculations, and reporting to meet project requirements.
• Manage multiple smaller company priorities and projects.
• Assist with proposals, including technical plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
