About The Position

St. Frances Cabrini Academy is seeking a dedicated and mission‑driven Full‑Time 4th Grade Teacher to join our school community. This role is responsible for providing high‑quality instruction, fostering a supportive and faith‑centered classroom environment, and guiding students in their academic, social, and spiritual development. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong instructional skills, a passion for teaching elementary learners, and a commitment to the mission of Catholic education.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education required; Master’s degree preferred.
Valid Missouri teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
Experience teaching elementary students or working in a school setting.
Strong classroom‑management, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to create engaging lessons that support academic and faith development.
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
Must meet Archdiocesan compliance requirements, including Safe Environment training.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with school and Archdiocesan curriculum standards.
Create a structured, welcoming, and respectful classroom environment that promotes learning and student growth.
Integrate Catholic values and faith formation into daily instruction and classroom culture.
Assess student progress using a variety of tools and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Communicate regularly and professionally with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
Maintain accurate records, including lesson plans, grades, and student documentation.
Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other assigned duties.
Collaborate with faculty on curriculum planning, school initiatives, and community‑building activities.
Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and schoolwide events.
Model Catholic values and contribute positively to the spiritual life of the school community.
