IMMEDIATE OPENING 4th Grade Teacher School Year 2025-2026 Christiansburg Elementary School Do you have a passion for teaching? Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is now accepting applications for a 4th Grade teaching position that is available at Christiansburg Elementary School for the 2025 – 2026 school year. This is an immediate opening. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student.

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with the appropriate endorsement to teach at the elementary school level
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans and curriculum materials
• Possess ability to effectively assess student learning and use results to plan and implement appropriate instruction
• Integrate technology into classroom instruction to enhance learning
• Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework
• Create and maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of all students
• Communicate effectively with strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Engage and collaborate effectively with parents and families
• Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to a positive team environment
• Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities
