About The Position

Perry Local Schools is seeking a dedicated and student-centered 4th Grade Teacher to join our elementary team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality instruction, build strong relationships, and support student growth across all core content areas.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio teaching license for Elementary Education (K–5 or appropriate grade band)
• Strong knowledge of elementary instructional practices and child development
• Commitment to collaboration, growth, and student-centered learning
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with students and families

Nice To Haves

• Experience with structured literacy and evidence-based reading practices
• Familiarity with data-driven instruction and intervention supports
• Experience integrating technology into instruction

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction in English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies
• Use data to inform instruction and support student achievement
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
• Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Implement effective literacy and foundational skill practices
• Collaborate with colleagues in team-based structures (TBTs)
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and staff
• Support building and district initiatives focused on continuous improvement
