The position is for a Reprocessing Technician on the 2nd shift, which runs from Monday to Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., with a $1.50 shift differential.

Requirements

• Ability to inspect devices both visually and utilizing a microscope.
• Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proficiency in using personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary functions to ensure medical devices are reprocessed using methods of cleaning, decontamination, inspection, and packaging.
• Participate in all required safety training and demonstrate proficiency using all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Receive and verify incoming devices against bill of lading, packing list, invoices, or other records.
• Clean, decontaminate and disinfect devices, equipment, tools and surfaces using appropriate PPE, defined methods, tools, and chemical solutions.
• Inspect devices both visually and utilizing a microscope to detect soiling and damage to the device electrode body.
