Requirements

• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities.
• Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior.
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, overnights, or double shifts.

Responsibilities

• Advocating and supporting adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Empowering individuals to be as active in their lives as they can.
• Assisting with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and teeth brushing.
• Accompanying individuals to medical appointments and banking.
• Helping individuals become active members of their community and attend outings.
• Administering medications and following Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
• Ensuring compliance with medical guidelines and agency policies.
• Maintaining certifications and handling job-related duties in compliance with DDS regulations.
