Our Newest Opportunity: Our Opportunity The 401(k) Manager oversees all aspects of 401(k) retirement plan administration for Resourcing Edge and client-sponsored plans. This includes ensuring that all employees are enrolled in the plan, managing contributions from both the employer and employee side, and making sure that the investments offered through the plan are properly allocated and managed. This role ensures accurate plan operations, regulatory compliance, exceptional service to clients and participants, and alignment with industry best practices. This is a hybrid position based out of our regional office in Phoenix, AZ

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of 401(k) administration or retirement plan management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, DOL regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with payroll/benefits systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications: QKA, QPA, CEBS preferred
  • PEO or multi-employer plan experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team to provide Client Interest forms to 401k provider
  • Partner with Implementation and Client coordinating with 401k provider
  • Track client interest forms and attend advisor/client meetings
  • Work with clients and providers to set up new retirement plans
  • Assist employees with retirement questions
  • Work with auditors to provide requested data to complete the annual audit
  • Work with retirement provider to assist with annual testing
  • Review data entry changes made to the payroll system
  • QC all changes
  • Reconcile and remit weekly 401(k) contributions
  • Assist terminated clients with plan transfers
  • Attend quarterly Investment Committee meetings
  • Work with our internal teams to answer client and employee questions
  • Work with data processing team, Ben Reps or Implementation for client sponsored plan set up and SOP’s on how to manage plan.
  • Other duties as appropriate to the objectives of the role and goals of Resourcing Edge.
