About The Position

The 4-H Camp Staff position at Louisiana State University involves working as part of the summer camp staff team at the Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center. Requirements

• Must be AED/CPR certified (training is provided).

• Prior experience working with or supervising children.

Nice To Haves

• Preference for applicants who have attended college for two years and are at a Junior or Senior credit hour level.
• Enrolled in agriculture education, education, social or behavioral sciences, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors in teaching specific subject matter to youth in a camp setting.
• Provide safe supervision of youth during camp activities.
• Engage in recreational responsibilities such as canoeing, archery, and swimming.
• Maintain the upkeep of teaching areas and equipment.
• Attend scheduled meetings with the 4-H Program Coordinator and Camp Director.
• Assist with parish arrival and departure procedures.
• Adhere to all camp policies and procedures.
